MobilityGRID by CAS Transit LLC is a mobility data platform founded by engineers and practitioners experienced in complex data environments, real-time systems, and production-grade workflows.

Our team has built high-integrity pipelines, cross-functional alignment systems, and governed data layers across organizations where accuracy and consistency are non-negotiable. We founded MobilityGRID because agencies, fleets, and insurers around the globe all told us the same thing: “The data exists, but we can’t trust it, easily use it, or quickly share it.”

Our mission is to solve that foundational problem by creating a neutral, AI-ready trust layer that every stakeholder can rely on.

CAS operates on three principles:

  • Chief Executive Officer & Co-Founder

    Sam DenDanto is a systems-focused engineer with experience in mechatronics, workflow design, and data integrity across complex environments. He previously worked at ASML on high-precision system development and new product introduction, supporting engineering teams in refining processes, resolving vendor escalations, and aligning cross-functional operations. Sam was selected as a US–China Young Researcher for the 2024 COTA International Conference for Transportation Professionals, recognizing his emerging work at the intersection of mobility, safety, and intelligent systems.

    Sam owns and scaled a national equine wellness brand, gaining experience in supply chain operations, product development, marketing, sales, customer workflows, and building data-driven decision systems.

    At MobilityGRID, he leads product direction and system architecture, focusing on creating a neutral, trustworthy, AI-ready data layer that agencies, fleets, and insurers can confidently build on.

  • Chief Technology Officer & Co-Founder

    Kyle Rand is an AI cloud engineer with deep experience building production-grade platforms on AWS and Azure. He has led generative AI and MLOps initiatives at Chewy and WEX, including internal platforms that let teams deploy AI-powered applications with minimal code, and he previously architected multi-cloud infrastructure at GE Aviation and GE Digital.

    With a BS and MS in Information Management from Syracuse University and hands-on work across full-stack development, infrastructure as code, and distributed AI systems, Kyle brings the technical leadership needed to make MobilityGRID’s V2X trust layer scalable, secure, and truly AI-ready.

  • Chief Operations Officer & Co-Founder

    Sebastian Vecchi is a mechanical engineer with experience in product design, simulation-driven development, and standards-based vehicle testing. His background includes CAD modeling, FEA analysis, prototyping, and full product lifecycle execution at Hamilton Company and Janos Technology, along with vehicle performance testing at the Nevada Automotive Test Center using SAE and MIL-STD methodologies.

    Sebastian has a track record of turning specifications and raw test data into validated designs, clear reports, and actionable engineering decisions. At MobilityGRID, he supports system modeling, data interpretation, and the practical alignment of the platform with real-world vehicle behavior and testing environments — ensuring the trust layer we build reflects how systems operate in the field.
